दैवासुर सम्पद विभाग योग
चिन्तामपरिमेयां च प्रलयान्तामुपाश्रिताः। कामोपभोगपरमा एतावदिति निश्चिताः॥ 16:11॥
चिन्ताम् अ-परिमेयाम् च प्र-लय-अन्ताम् उप-आश्रिताः, काम-उप-भोग-परमाः, 'एतावत्', इति निश्चिताः।
प्र-लय-अन्ताम् (मृत्यु तक ) अ-परिमेयाम् (असीमित) चिन्ताम् (चिंताओं को) उप-आश्रिताः (धारण कर) काम-उप-भोग-परमाः (विषय-भोग परायण) च (और) 'एतावत्' (यही सब कुछ है), इति (ऐसा) निश्चिताः (निश्चित मानने वाले),

मृत्यु तक रहने वाली अपार चिंताओं का आश्रय लेने वाले और इंद्रिय-भोगों के भोगने को जीवन का परम लक्ष्य मानने वाले {ये आसुरी प्रकृति के लोग} ‘इतना ही सुख है’, इस प्रकार मानने वाले होते हैं।

Convinced that the pursuit of material comforts and the fulfillment of sensual desires constitute life's ultimate objective, they firmly believe that the material world is all that exists, with nothing beyond it. As a result, they carry a multitude of worldly concerns and anxieties until the moment of their passing. (16:11)
