मोक्ष संन्यास योग
न च तस्मान्मनुष्येषु कश्चिन्मे प्रियकृत्तमः । भविता न च मे तस्मादन्यः प्रियतरो भुवि॥ 18:69॥
न च तस्तात् मनुष्येषु कश्चित् मे प्रिय-कृत्-तमः; भविता न च मे तस्मात् अन्यः प्रिय-तरः भुवि।
तस्मात् (उससे बढ़ कर) मे (मेरा) प्रिय-कृत्-तमः (प्रिय कार्य करने वाला) मनुष्येषु (मनुष्यों में) कश्चित् (कोई) च (भी) न (नहीं) च (और) भुवि (धरती पर) तस्मात् (उससे बढ़ कर) मे (मुझे) प्रिय-तरः (अधिक प्रिय) अन्यः (कोई अन्य) भविता (होगा) न (नहीं)।

न तो उससे बढ़कर मेरा प्रिय कार्य करने वाला मनुष्यों में कोई है, और न उससे बढ़कर मेरा प्रिय इस पृथ्वी पर दूसरा कोई होगा।

Among all humans, there is none whom I hold as dear to Me as the one who undertakes the noble task of spreading the Knowledge {of the Bhagavad-Gitā}, nor will there be in the future. (18:69)

It's worth recalling that in the Gitā, God has stated at various points who is dear to Him. In Chapter 12, between verses 13 and 20, He specifies the virtues that make individuals dear to Him. He tells Arjuna in verse 18: 65 that Arjuna is dear to Him. However, the most powerful statement of all is that no one is or will ever be as dear to Him as those who spread the knowledge of the Gitā. But what could be the reason for this? It's not hard to discern. Those who possess the virtues mentioned in Chapter 12 of the Sacred Book may endear themselves to God and attain their own salvation. However, those who, in addition to possessing those virtues, spread the teachings of the Gitā, can bring salvation to countless people by enabling those other human beings to become aware of the diverse paths advocated by God in the Gitā to attain Nirvāna and optimize their happiness in this life.
