क्षेत्र क्षेत्रज्ञ विभाग योग
क्षेत्रज्ञं चापि मां विद्धि सर्वक्षेत्रेषु भारत । क्षेत्रक्षेत्रज्ञयोर्ज्ञानं यत्तज्ज्ञानं मतं मम॥ 13:2॥
क्षेत्रज्ञम् च अपि माम् विद्धि सर्व क्षेत्रेषु भारत; क्षेत्र-क्षेत्रज्ञयोः ज्ञानम् यत्, तत् ज्ञानम् मतम् मम।।
भारत (हे भरतवंशी)! सर्व (सभी) क्षेत्रेषु (क्षेत्रों में) क्षेत्रज्ञम् (क्षेत्रज्ञ) अपि (भी) माम् (मुझे) विद्धि (जानो) च (और) क्षेत्र-क्षेत्रज्ञयोः (क्षेत्र और क्षेत्रज्ञ का) यत् (जो) ज्ञानम् (ज्ञान है) तत् (वह) ज्ञानम् (ज्ञान है), मम (मेरा) मतम् (मत है)।

हे अर्जुन! सभी क्षेत्रों अर्थात अलग-अलग शरीरों के भीतर क्षेत्रज्ञ अर्थात आत्मा {के रूप में} भी मैं परमेश्वर ही {स्थित} हूँ, ऐसा जानो! क्षेत्र तथा क्षेत्रज्ञ की, अर्थात प्रकृति और पुरुष की सच्चाई को जानना ही ज्ञान है, ऐसा मेरा मत है।
English
O, the Descendant of King Bharata! Know that inside all these Fields (i.e., all the bodies), I am seated as their soul (Kshetrajna or Knower of the Field). The Knowledge of the Truth of the Kshetra and the Kshetrajna—the body and the soul—is the ultimate Knowledge, in my view. (13:2)

अर्थात अपने को शरीर समझने की भूल नहीं करना। तुम शरीर नहीं, शरीर में स्थित आत्मा हो! शरीर प्रकृति का अंश है, और आत्मा ('तुम') ईश्वर का अंश!

That is to say, do not mistake yourself for your physical body. You are not the body; you are the soul residing within the body. The body is a product of Nature (Prakriti), whereas you, as a soul, are a fragment of God.
