Yes. We can see and hear God in His saakar forms — His with-body forms. We can even speak with Him.
The formless (nirakara) God we cannot see with our physical eyes, but we can experience Him. Describing those experiences in words is difficult — just as describing the formless God Himself in words is difficult.
