Can one cut a thorny tree even if it bears fruit and causes harm?
A

Answer

Every tree is a manifestation of life. It is a living being. The ber (jujube) tree, moreover, is a fruit-bearing tree. What serious harm it could possibly cause is not clear to me. In my view, no tree should be destroyed as long as the harm it causes is not extremely grave. If it has spread too much and is causing inconvenience in movement, then it would be better to trim its branches little by little to reduce its size. Hari Sharanam!
